Named for the gorgeous Border Collie so numerous in the Lake District. Shepherds throughout the world rely upon Border Collies and they are a stalwart of Sheep dog trails. Renowned for their intelligence and faithful nature they are typically black and white, but brown and tri-colour variants do occur. 

 

The Collie room is a stylish, contemporary double aspect room with direct access to its own west facing patio.

 

The luxury 6ft superking sized bed can also be configured as 2, 3ft single beds and has crisp white bedlinen and a snuggly warm duvet. 

 

This room has underfloor heated timber flooring and Herdwick sheepskin bedside rugs.

 

The level access bathroom has striking tiles, a walk-in shower with 'rainfall' head, wall hung toilet, and stylish basin all from Porcelanosa. Complementary toiletries from The Bath House in Sedburgh, large soft Egyptian cotton towels and a heated floor complete the experience.

"Collie" is located below  "Herdwick"  so both can be taken together for a group of 4 such as a family with 2 children.

 

Ironically, given its name, we do NOT allow DOGS in this room.
