Herdwick Suite
This suite is named after our very hardy, native breed of sheep often called the Guardian of Lakeland due to its importance in maintaining the appearance of the high fells. Herdwick lambs are born completely black and as they get older, they become a lighter mottled grey.
This is our only first floor room and has a number of features including some interesting beams and a Barn Owl hole which has now been glazed. This room is carpeted using Herdwick wool carpet and has 2 stylish radiators.
The bathroom is reached through a glass pocket-door and has a large basin, walk-in shower and wall hung toilet from Porcelanosa. Complimentary toiletries are provided from The Bath House in Sedburgh along with large soft Egyptian Cotton towels and a heated floor!
The luxurious superking 6ft bed is positioned so that you can look out over the fields to the sea from the comfort of your cosy bed. Crisp white linen and a snuggly warm duvet complete the pleasure.
Herdwick's private patio is accessed from downstairs.
Herdwick is above Collie and they can be booked together for a group of 4, for example a family with 2 children.
We do NOT allow DOGS in this room.
