Tarn Suite
Tarns are small mountain lakes and we have over 100 of them here in the Lake District. The word 'tarn' comes from the Norse word ‘tjorn’ which means 'teardrop' and if you come across one on a walk, it may well move you to tears (of joy!).
The high beamed ceiling, contemporary colours and oversized headboards make this a spacious, light and dramatic room with underfloor heated flagstones and Herdwick sheepskin bedside rugs. This Suite has level access from the reception area, a level access bathroom and bi-fold doors to its own west facing patio.
The luxury 6ft superking sized bed can also be configured as 2, 3ft single beds. Crisp white bedlinen and a snuggly warm duvet make for a great night's sleep.
The bathroom has a stylish basin, a walk-in shower with 'rainfall' head. Large soft Egyptian Cotton towels, complimentary toiletries from The Bath House in Sedburgh and a heated floor complete the experience.
Up to 2 dogs are allowed in this room. Please let us know if you are bringing your dog - there is a small charge for this.
